About the role: Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit is responsible for the investigation of serious crime within the Port Phillip Police Service Area (PSA). Located within the St Kilda Police Complex, we are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and self-driven applicant to provide vital administrative support to the thirty-four detectives and Officer in Charge within the unit. General reception duties, answering phone calls and fielding enquiries. Data entry and compliance assurance on several Victoria Police applications. Raising purchase orders and replenishing stationery and office supplies. Sorting, recording, and processing incoming and outgoing mail. Managing confidential information and records for the unit, including filing and archiving. Assisting the unit manager and portfolio holders with monthly reconciliations and reporting. About You: The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: The ability to work well within a team, in a busy office environment. Effective time management skills to be able to prioritise and complete all tasks within specified time frames. Computer skills and experience in Microsoft office are essential.
