You will manage the supplier and administrative aspects of the patient journey from when the patient enters the Surgery Connect Program to completion of the patient's care. You will also support the Patient Team Supervisor, Manager and Director to provide training and support in the development and implementation of the business unit's strategic initiatives and projects. What you'll do Provide leadership and direction to the Surgery Connect team and Surgery Connect Suppliers to ensure the delivery of outcomes are in line with contract compliance, government objectives and legislative requirements. Prepare high quality, evidence-based advice and provide specialist input to support consistent high-quality design and implementation of program and process improvements, and decision-making. Proactively identify program risks and issues and lead discussions with key stakeholders as to their appropriate management to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved in a timely manner. Liaise, consult and develop partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders including Department of Health, Hospital and Health Services, Suppliers, patients and patient's carers. About you We are searching for someone who: Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of medical terminology used to deliver patient-centred activities would be highly regarded. Demonstrates knowledge and experience with database utilisation and patient management systems. Brings experience, skills and knowledge of departmental financial and administrative processes, with a proven ability to actively participate in business improvement initiatives that deliver more efficient work practices.
