Part time (0.8 FTE) fixed term until 30th June 2027 Opportunity to lead high-impact international and local research projects Base Salary $146,197 - $154,260 17% superannuation – Pro-rata to 0.8FTE (28 hours per week) About the opportunity As the Research Program Manager , you will coordinate the U21 Nature Positive Coalition, a major international initiative focused on sustainability and biodiversity, alongside other strategic research projects. You will manage project organisation, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure effective delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets. Working closely with academic leaders and external stakeholders, you will drive global collaboration and support policy reform initiatives. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage overall organisation of research projects, including defining roles, responsibilities, and milestones lead the development and communication of the U21 project charter to ensure clarity of objectives and deliverables establish and implement project management methodologies, processes, and templates design project processes and governance structures for the U21 international project and local research initiatives develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines and milestones provide leadership to project teams, including workload allocation, supervision, and training manage project financials, including budget allocation and monitoring expenditure undertake other duties and projects appropriate within the classification level as required About you postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience extensive experience in managing strategic projects, ideally in policy reform or higher education contexts proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting experience engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders strong skills in planning, organisation, and project delivery proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools excellent communication and decision-making skills.
