Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking a Reporting & Technology Manager to oversee the digital platforms, reporting frameworks, and automation systems for a newly acquired government services portfolio. You will work closely with operational, finance, and asset teams to ensure accurate, transparent, and timely insights, while streamlining workflows and improving system efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and enjoys improving processes and technology to support effective decision-making. Key Responsibilities - Manage and optimise BGIS Connect, MRI Manhattan, SPM Assets, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric systems - Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and governance packs - Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline approvals, notifications, and compliance tracking - Ensure high-quality, accurate, and auditable data and reporting outputs - Collaborate with operational, asset, and finance teams to align reporting and technology with contract needs - Support system and reporting training for teams and provide guidance on digital tools - Lead continuous improvement initiatives in reporting, automation, and workflow efficiency Education, Experience & Skills Essential - Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and publishing governance - Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, pipelines, and dataflows - Experience with Power Automate workflow development for integrations and process improvements - Strong understanding of FM operational systems (PMIS, CMMS or similar) - Experience in FM contracts or government portfolios - Excellent communication, collaboration, and process improvement skills Desirable - Experience with SPM Assets or MRI Manhattan - Experience supporting government or multi-site FM portfolios - Passion for adopting new technologies and driving digital efficiency Workplace Flexibility This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office and is close to public transport. After probation/training, the role transitions to a hybrid arrangement : 2 days WFH, 3 days office with flexible start/finish times during Core Business Hours Occasional client site visits within Melbourne CBD and extra ad hoc hours may also be required on an as-needed basis.
