ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client on major civil infrastructure projects in Hawke’s Bay and Tauranga. You will manage project costs, contracts, and commercial aspects, and be involved in project control tasks like cost tracking, schedule monitoring, and reporting. Your work will help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Main Duties Manage project costs, budgets, and forecasts Track and report progress, costs, and performance Administer contracts, variations, and claims Prepare estimates, tender documents, and cashflow forecasts Measure and value work, including quantity take-offs Manage scope, deliverables, and change orders Support risk assessments and delay analysis Assist with subcontractor procurement and payment claims Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards Requirements Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar Minimum 8 years’ experience on NZ civil construction projects Experience in cost management, estimating, commercial reporting, and project controls Knowledge of NZ construction contracts (e.g., NZS3910, NZS3915, NEC) Strong understanding of time, procurement, and risk management Ability to read drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving and communication skills Proficient with cost control software and office applications Safety-focused, reliable, and a team player Benefits Competitive salary $100,000 – $140,000 car (negotiable depending on experience) Senior role on major civil infrastructure projects Long-term career growth opportunities Supportive team and positive culture Great lifestyle and work–life balance Apply Now Interested?
