We are an award-winning development and construction company based on the Gold Coast with offices also in Brisbane and Ballina – We currently have an amazing opportunity available for a savvy Bid Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team to create and construct our key tender proposals and bids. ( The ideal candidate may work from either our Brisbane or Gold Coast office, with the added flexibility of working from home when needed) About the Role: As a Bid Co-Ordinator at Alder Group, you will support three divisions of our Construction arm (Build, Civil and Asset Renewal), working within a team that targets specific sectors, clientele, and project values. Our tenders focus is heavily on quality over quantity and you will collaborate closely with senior leadership team to deliver bids for complex and exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: Bid Strategy & Management Lead the end-to-end bid process across multiple concurrent opportunities, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compelling submissions. Coordinate bid kick-off meetings and regular check-ins with internal stakeholders to align on win themes and key messaging. Work closely with senior leadership, estimators, technical teams, and delivery personnel to coordinate input and approval. Coordination with the offshore team in the preparation and submission of tenders. Content Development & Proposal Creation Take ownership of proposal content planning, writing, editing, and formatting to ensure consistent tone, branding, and alignment with client requirements. Develop tailored responses by interpreting tender documentation and leveraging internal knowledge, past submissions, and SME input. Prepare executive summaries, project profiles, case studies, and other collateral as required. Process Improvement & Compliance Maintain and refine bid templates, libraries, and tools to improve efficiency and quality. Ensure all proposals are compliant with tender requirements, including formatting, document control, and submission protocols. Conduct post-submission reviews and debriefs to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processes. Collaboration & Communication Act as a central point of contact between bid, marketing, commercial, and delivery teams. Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g. JV partners, subconsultants) where required to coordinate joint responses or obtain supporting information. Communicate timelines and key milestones across all levels of the business. About You: Strong written and verbal communication skills Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset High attention to detail and quality Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities Experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams Confident leading meetings and engaging senior stakeholders Proficient in MS Office and Adobe InDesign Organised, process-driven, and self-motivated Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style Ability to adapt in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Client-focused with an understanding of positioning to win Exposure to detailed construction tender functions is advantageous.
