Base Salary from $94,728 Allowances 16.5% Super = $92,298 (excludes shift allowance) About the role An opportunity has arisen at Glendenning for a Rapid Response role. As a member of the Rapid Response team, you will work with Endeavour Energy’s Control Room and be part of the first response for network and customer fault and emergency work. When there is no fault and emergency work available during your shift, you will perform interruptible work which will be stopped in preference of the next emergency job that is reported. The role covers a rotating afternoon and day shift comprising a 72 hour / 8-day fortnight rolling roster, where each shift is 9 hours in duration. Our Rapid Response team responds to faults fault and emergency works located with located within the core of our franchise Northern and Central Regions and is located at the Glendenning Field Service Centre. Benefits 8 day fortnight Rotating day and afternoon shift roster Exposure to a high variety of work tasks and locations Shift allowance of 15% on weekday shifts Two shifts per fortnight will be scheduled on weekend days, at appropriate penalty rates and shift allowance Two weekend days per fortnight will be rostered off Valuable experience for future career opportunities About you To be considered for this opportunity, you will meet the following essential requirements: Qualified Electrical Fitter Mechanic; Distribution Powerline Worker Demonstrated knowledge of construction and maintenance practices for overhead and underground distribution systems, Proven experience with Fault & Emergency scenarios Knowledge of Workcover regulations and company policy and procedures relating to safe working practices in field situations Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously as required Experience working at heights from ladders, platforms and EWP Hold HR driver’s licence Highly desirable: Hold switching qualifications up to DN2 Traffic Control Certificate Workcover Certificates for EWP, Palfinger or similar light crane, Dogging and Forklift Experience doing shift work For further information, please contact recruitment@endeavourenergy.com.au Applications close – 18 January 2026.
