Job Description Reporting to the DTC Senior Merchandise Planner, the DTC Merchandise Planner is responsible for supporting the achievement of Sell Through, Sales and Margin targets for the Full Price ASICS Stores as well as the E-Commerce Channel. Day-to-day function will see you ensuring we have the right merchandise to support our Full Price and E-Commerce Sales plans and driving sales results with an informed and strategic point of view. So, what goes into making that happen? Review and provide relevant inputs in the Open to Buy ensuring that Sales Plans can be achieved with available inventory Liaise with Retail Merchandising and Supply Planning Teams to ensure Buy Forecasts, and Buy Submissions are provided on a timely basis, to support future inventory requirements Liaise with Retail Buyer and Supply Planning to enable on time Product launches, aligned to Lifecycle rules and Store capacity plans Provide weekly Trade insights and Actionable analysis to improve sales results Manage an Actions List, and follow through on trade driving initiatives with urgency, collaborating closely with Retail Teams Propose and Plan offers for key SALE events, liaising with Marketing and Retail teams to ensure Retail SALE events can be reasonably executed Implement strategies to improve the DTC Inventory position within Months of Cover Targets Ensure stock health and size runs are optimised in stores. Here’s what we hope to see from you: Prior Experience in Merchandise Planning Relevant tertiary and industry degree/qualification Good practical understanding of retail/commercial environment Able to communicate and influence commercially with a well-intentioned point of view Demonstrated good commercial/business acumen Exceptional organisation skills and ability to prioritise effectively Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to deliver tight deadlines High level initiative, enthusiasm, and self-motivation A resilient yet flexible approach and be capable of working autonomously and in a team, within a dynamic fast changing environment.
