About you: In your new role you will: Utilise effective communication, interpersonal and consultation skills to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams promoting the function of the peer role and advocate for the consumer perspective. Drawing on your lived experience of recovery, support consumers to identify their own achievable and meaningful recovery goals, including planning to make positive changes to achieve these. Hold an understanding of available community support services and assist consumers with navigation and linkages to relevant services. Work with multidisciplinary teams and complement existing services to assist consumers on their recovery journey. Participate in quality improvement activities within the MHAOD Service as required.
