The team has a multi-dimensional impact, from helping avoid legal exposure to collaborating with other functions to develop cutting-edge new products. How you will create an impact As the Regulatory Change Lead, you will lead programs of work to ensure successful implementation and on-going compliance with significant regulatory changes that impact AIG’s business. Working as part of a close-knit team, this role will provide support to the Chief Compliance Officer, Australia and New Zealand to ensure that relevant regulatory requirements of AIG Australia are understood and are met on an ongoing basis. Key accountabilities include: Lead the on-going management of AIG Australia’s FAR related policies and procedures. Implementation of controls, advice and support to stakeholders to manage regulatory changes. Reporting on the status and ongoing monitoring new and upcoming regulatory change activities to Management and Board. Promote a strong compliance and conduct risk culture. Support continuous education and improvement initiatives. What you’ll need to succeed Demonstrated ability to understand and translate external regulatory requirements to shape business outcomes (6 years). FAR implementation experience will be considered favourably but is not essential. Understanding of key general insurance legislation and regulatory obligations. Strong ability to write with effect, particularly in relation to reporting for Executives, Board and Risk & Compliance Committees. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the presence and ability to interact and build credibility with senior stakeholders. Ready to make a difference? We would love to hear from you.
