We are currently seeking an experienced Trade Waiter to join our dedicated front-of-house team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a venue that combines timeless elegance with modern flair. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present tables to fine-dining standards, ensuring linen, cutlery, glassware, and overall setting are impeccable. Warmly greet guests, manage reservations, and guide patrons to their tables with professional courtesy. Present menus and beverage lists, offering confident recommendations and thoughtful food-and-wine pairings. Accurately take and relay orders to kitchen and bar teams, ensuring smooth service flow. Serve food and beverages with precision, including opening bottles, pouring wine, mixing liquor, and assisting with cellar or bar duties. Proactively top up and replace glasses, clear and reset tables, and return crockery and cutlery to the kitchen efficiently. Maintain a clean, refined dining environment by removing empty bottles and used glasses discreetly. Present bills and process payments via POS and cash handling systems. Mentor and support junior team members when required, fostering a collaborative and professional service culture. About You You are a polished hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service. With a strong background in fine dining, you thrive in elegant, fast-paced environments where attention to detail and guest experience are paramount. You will bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in fine dining or premium hospitality. AQF Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House), or equivalent. Current RSA certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent English and a confident, professional presence. A strong knowledge of food hygiene and service standards. Wine knowledge (Sommelier certification highly regarded), with the ability to guide guests through thoughtful pairings.
