Floor Supervisor (Day Shift) Soho Restaurant & Bar – Southbank, Melbourne Soho Restaurant & Bar is a vibrant, high-energy venue in the heart of Southbank. We’re looking for a Daytime Floor Supervisor to join our front-of-house team and ensure smooth operations during our day trade, including breakfast service. About the Role Supervise day-to-day floor operations Lead and support a team of front-of-house staff Ensure service standards are consistently delivered Roster and team management support Report directly to the Venue Manager and General Manager Hours 5 days a week: 10:00am – 6:00pm On breakfast service days: 7:00am – 3:00pm Key Responsibilities Lead the floor during service, ensuring efficiency and high-quality customer experiences Train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house team members Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and presentation Assist with rostering, staff coverage, and daily operational tasks Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally Support Venue Manager and General Manager in achieving operational and service targets Skills & Experience Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage a team and maintain service standards during busy periods Positive, hands-on approach and attention to detail Available to work day shifts and breakfast service days What’s On Offer Competitive wage Structured day-time role with clear hours Supportive team environment and growth opportunities Opportunity to be part of a high-performing, well-established Southbank venue If you are a motivated front-of-house professional who thrives in a leadership role and loves ensuring great service, we want to hear from you.
