Roster that has mix of day & night shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am) $28.38 p/h super shift loading (Level 3 pay grade) Amazing opportunity for self-reliant Security officers About the Role This position is primarily focused on gatehouse duties , maintaining a strong security presence while ensuring safe and efficient access control for staff, visitors, and contractors. The role also includes periodic patrols and requires a high level of autonomy and self-reliance. Duties include but are not limited to: Monitoring and controlling access through the gatehouse Checking identification, issuing passes, and managing visitor/contractor entry Conducting occasional foot patrols to ensure people are safe and buildings are secure Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required Assisting and directing people around the site Writing accurate reports in response to incidents Communicating calmly and clearly with staff, visitors, and key stakeholders Skills and Experience Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate (essential) Current NSW Security Licence Strong customer-centric approach Traffic control (desirable) Proven ability to stay alert and focused while working autonomously High level of self-reliance and ability to work with minimal supervision Flexibility and adaptability Working With Children Check Master Licence – 408742075 How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
