About the Role We’re looking for highly organised Coordinators to join our Competitions Administration & Systems (CAS) team. These roles support the administration behind the Sydney Royal Easter Show and a wide range of Sydney Royal competitions – including agricultural, animal, food, flower & garden, woodchopping, school and creative competitions. You’ll help ensure entries and results are accurate, exhibitors are supported, and timelines are met across busy show and non-show periods. You’ll work with Competition Leads, other Coordinators and Event Managers, maintain competition data, help with reports and system testing, and keep procedures and guides up to date as we improve how we deliver competitions at the RAS. Key Responsibilities Work with Competition Leads and Event Managers to manage entries, transactions and results, delivering accurate, timely outcomes. Provide data administration and customer service to Competition Sections. Configure and maintain the competitions database; ensure information is current and accurate; generate reports as required. Coordinate activities covered by service agreements and keep agreement documentation current. Participate in database UAT (user acceptance testing) and support system rollouts. Keep process manuals and user guides up to date; assist Exhibitors and train Competition Officials. Support safe work practices and contribute to a straightforward, supportive team culture. Hours & flexibility: Core hours are 8:30am–5:00pm with flexibility. Additional hours will be required in the lead-up to and during the Sydney Royal Easter Show and other RAS events. About You You’re a detail-minded administrator who enjoys variety, working with people, and helping big events run smoothly. You’ll bring: Strong customer service and communication skills. A practical, process-focused mindset – you like things accurate and well documented. The ability to prioritise and stay calm when things get busy. A team-first approach, with the confidence to work independently when needed. Comfort learning new systems and turning procedures into clear checklists and guides. An interest in agriculture, events or competitions (or a genuine interest in picking it up). Qualifications & Experience Essential Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience (1-2 years) in business, administration and/ or events coordination. Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Intermediate). Strong written and verbal English; demonstrated customer service experience. Desirable Experience creating or updating user guides, process manuals or training materials Why Join the RAS?
