About The Role The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is seeking a highly organised Livestock Event & Administration Assistant, with administration as the primary focus of the role. You will play an essential part in supporting the competitions team by delivering accurate, efficient, and high quality administrative work that underpins the successful delivery of the livestock competitions help during the Sydney Royal Easter Show. You will be responsible for maintaining documents, data, and systems that support event operations. Alongside this, you will assist with customer service and on the ground event tasks during the Show period. This casual role will run through to the end of April 2026, including key pre-Show, Show, and post-Show periods. Why will you enjoy this role? We are currently looking for an Events and Administration Assistant to join our vibrant, committed team in delivering one of the Australia’s largest annual events, engaging with exhibitors, patrons, and the wider community. Key Responsibilities Complete a wide range of administrative tasks including formatting, proofreading, word processing, and document preparation. Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems. Manage spreadsheets and databases for accommodation, exhibitors, and logistics. Enter, validate, and consolidate customer and exhibitor information, ensuring data accuracy across all systems. Prepare reports, summaries, and PowerPoint presentations. Coordinate invitations and assist with catalogues, signage, and event documentation. Respond to enquiries from exhibitors, officials, and the public in a professional and timely manner. Support accommodation logistics, key distribution, parking arrangements, and daily office operations. Assist with the flow of information and materials across event areas. Provide hands on support during bump in and bump out, exhibitor check ins, and pavilion operations. Monitor general presentation of pavilions and accommodation areas. About You Strong administrative capability with high attention to detail. Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Positive, adaptable, and proactive. Available to work weekends and extended hours during the Show period.
