What you'll do Coordinate and manage projects in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies to ensure the delivery of timely and quality project outcomes. Complete key deliverables underpinning mental health system improvements and service delivery. Operate within broader state and national contexts and frameworks, including those relating to disaster and emergency management and those relating to regional, rural and remote mental health and wellbeing. Liaise, consult and develop partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders including teams within the Department of Health, Hospital and Health Services, other government departments, non-government organisations, professional groups and others. Provide ethical decision-making in the achievement of organisations goals. Comply with relevant financial and quality management practices, public administration law and departmental policies. About you We are searching for someone with: Experience in the management of complex projects Ability to develop high-quality written materials High-level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and verbal communication skills, including experience in cultivating productive working relationships and partnerships across a range of internal and external stakeholders Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of mental health and wellbeing issues in regional, rural and remote contexts, including the impacts of weather-related adversity on individuals, families and communities Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of local, state and national service systems that aim to support the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of individuals and communities in regional, rural and remote areas Capability to manage system-wide and/or state-wide projects that are time-critical and achieve expected deliverables Strategic planning and project management skills and the ability to formulate and communicate strategic advice Why work with us?
