This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to manage inventory-related financial processes effectively. Prepare and review financial statements related to inventory and cost of goods sold. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management practices. Analyse inventory variances and provide actionable recommendations. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions effectively. Profile A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent). Strong knowledge of inventory accounting processes and standards. Proven ability to analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights. Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
