About the role An opportunity to gain extended scope skills and participate in a hands on emergency department based team. An extended-hours and extended scope clinical pharmacy service was implemented in the ETC at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in 2017 to optimise the skill mix of the ETC multi-disciplinary team. The service operates 7am to 11pm seven days per week, providing medication management services within the ETC, including the Short Stay Unit. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Provide efficient and effective clinical pharmacy services with infrequent need for direct personal clinical supervision. Provide sound, professional advice and assistance to clinical staff for evidence-based evaluation of new medicine therapies, and to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery. Provide clinical practice supervision and clinical education to Pharmacy practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the Pharmacy service.
