About the Firm Our client is a three-Partner Chartered Accounting firm located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. Known for their technical excellence and personalised service, the firm delivers high-quality audit, tax, and advisory solutions to clients across South Australia. They are now seeking an experienced and qualified Accountant to step into a Manager role within their growing Business Services & Advisory division. You will work closely with the Managing Partner, overseeing a $1.5 million fee base and leading a team of three accountants. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your taxation expertise, advisory capability, and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT or payroll tax returns across individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts. Provide tax planning and business advisory services, analysing financial and non-financial data to help clients monitor and improve performance. Build and strengthen client relationships through consistent, high-quality service delivery. Identify opportunities to expand services within the existing client base and promote the firm’s broader offerings. Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of accountants, fostering technical growth and professional development. Utilise accounting software proficiently, including Xero, MYOB AE and/or QuickBooks. About You 5 years’ experience in Business Services with strong technical accounting and tax knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar) and completed CA or CPA qualification. A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
