Our client, a respected independent audit firm, is seeking an Auditor with 2 years of experience to join their General Audit team. About the Role In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality audits across a wide range of engagements, applying modern tools and technology to drive efficiency and accuracy. You’ll bring strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and practical external audit experience. Experience with Caseware Agile Audit (or similar cloud-based audit software) is highly desirable, along with strong organisational skills, reliability, and a commitment to confidentiality, data privacy, and security. What You’ll Do Assist in planning and executing external audits in line with Australian Auditing Standards Perform risk assessments, identify control issues, and support audit planning Prepare working papers using cloud-based audit platforms Work collaboratively with the audit team to deliver high-quality outcomes Communicate effectively with clients, both onsite and remotely Uphold professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards at all times About You You are a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality audit work. CA/CPA qualified or working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 2 years of Australian external audit experience Strong understanding of Australian Auditing Standards, AASB Standards, and regulatory requirements Experience with Xero/MYOB and Caseware Cloud is advantageous Skills & Attributes High emotional intelligence and active listening skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Self-motivated, reliable, detail-focused Collaborative team player with leadership potential Adaptable, ethical, and committed to delivering quality work Positive, can-do attitude with a desire for continuous improvement The Culture This firm prides itself on a collaborative, supportive, and high-performance culture where people genuinely enjoy working together.
