About The Role We are in search of an experienced Administration and Finance Manager to join Webber Architects, a boutique professional architectural firm in Newcastle. The primary focus of this role is to provide leadership to administrative and finance staff in addition to operational support and advice to senior roles. This role plays a key role in ensuring operations are efficient, reliable and align with Webber’s strategic goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Ensure accurate records and systems are maintained, and processing is completed correctly Timely preparation of financial reports, providing analytical insights to the leadership team Oversee payroll processing, leave management, and HR administration Support recruitment and onboarding initiatives Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies Proactively address staff issues and concerns, ensuring accountability in roles and responsibilities, referring repetitive issues to the leadership team Coordinate IT support and systems across two offices Provide operational advice and support to the leadership team Actively raise and promote continuous improvement opportunities Ensure administrative and operational process and practices are aligned with the relevant Standards, Regulations and Codes of Practice Act as a role model and lead by example through everyday behaviours, modelling Webbers core Values Ensure effective communication and teamwork across administrative and financial functions About you A professional and well-presented individual with strong leadership skills and experience ensuring efficient office operations.
