We’re seeking a Project Manager – Soil Remediation to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of soil and land remediation project on a Tier 1 mining site. About the Role In this role, you will oversee end-to-end project management for contaminated land and soil remediation works. You’ll manage technical investigations, onsite activities, safety compliance, budgets, and client relationships to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage soil remediation projects from scoping to completion. Coordinate site investigations, remediation design, and implementation activities. Manage subcontractors, field crews, and equipment. Ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations, WHS requirements, and project quality standards. Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports. Liaise with clients, regulators, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Oversee sampling programs and site validation processes. Solve technical challenges and provide specialist input into remediation methodologies. Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures as required. About You Civil Project Management Experience Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, desirable Proven experience managing soil remediation or contaminated land projects. Strong understanding of remediation technologies, site investigation processes, and environmental compliance. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong safety focus, with experience in developing and enforcing WHS procedures. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) advantageous but not essential. Valid driver’s Licence.
