They are now seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their Sydney team. This is a rare developer-side opportunity to take ownership of the full design lifecycle across high-profile, design-led luxury projects. The Opportunity: You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle—from due diligence and DA through to detailed design, documentation, and Construction Certificate (CC). Post-DA, you'll lead the design process from DD to CC, managing consultants, driving design intent, and ensuring outcomes meet both design and commercial objectives. You'll also support early-stage projects, embedding developer parameters and ensuring concepts align with brand, quality, and feasibility expectations. What You'll Be Doing Leading the design process from DD to CC for major mixed-use and high-rise projects Supporting early-stage DA design to integrate developer requirements Coordinating architecture, interiors, landscape, engineering, and specialist consultants Collaborating with marketing teams to enhance project appeal and positioning Balancing design excellence with buildability, technical requirements, and commercial feasibility Acting as the key liaison between design, development, and construction teams Overseeing design reviews, value management, documentation quality, and technical resolution About You: Proven experience as a Design Manager in property development, architecture, or project management Strong understanding of the full design lifecycle, DD through CC Combine design sensibility with technical expertise, balancing architectural quality with practical outcomes. Ability to coordinate large consultant teams and drive results Technical capability paired with design sensitivity Excellent communication skills with both design and construction teams Experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use developments Why This Role?
