About your opportunity: In this position you will: Effectively manage self and in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators and other senior nursing staff, mentor and coach staff to enable them to attain professional standards and meet best practice guidelines. Provide effective communication, consultation and negotiation throughout the service to ensure the involvement of stakeholders in advanced problem solving and decision making. In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager and Nursing Director, lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective Health services. Accountable for the application of contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit working environment meets legislative standards and Queensland Health policy.
