The opportunity We are seeking a WHS & Wellbeing Advisor to join our People Solutions team. In this pivotal role, you will support UniSuper’s Workplace Health and Safety and wellbeing objectives, driving WHS programs, leading wellbeing initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders to maintain a safe and supportive work environment. Key responsibilities include: Managing all WHS activities, reporting, compliance, and ensuring safe and efficient workplace operations Conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS legislation across all states and territories Managing WorkCover cases and coordinating return-to-work processes Leading wellbeing initiatives across the organisation Maintaining WHS policies and procedures Acting as the SME and first point of contact for WHS enquiries Coordinating WHS Committee meetings and tracking actions to closure Ensuring First Aider training is up to date and providing refresher training Assisting with return-to-work programs and early intervention strategies Conducting and coordinating ergonomic assessments Supporting the development, planning, and delivery of WHS training and induction About you Experience in Human Resources or a related field, including Work Health & Safety Experience in WHS and Return to Work coordination Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Innovative, creative, and collaborative mindset Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to deliver timely, quality work and manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong organisational skills and a flexible, ‘can do’ approach Proficiency in Excel and MS Office What US offer We take a long-term outlook and will invest in our employee's development and training with a personal development plan and yearly funding to support your career goals, as well as these amazing benefits: A personal development budget of $1500 to support employees in their professional growth Performance incentive program Mental, physical, and financial well-being initiatives 3 days over Christmas and 3 days 'Community and Culture' leave allowing you to celebrate and contribute to things that are important to you outside of work Flexible superannuation – choose up to 17% 20 weeks fully paid Parental Leave We’re passionate about knowledge and sharing it amongst our members and our employees, so we believe 60% in office is the best way to collaborate and build relationships with your colleagues whilst offering flexibility.
