We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join Brandbank’s People & Culture team, taking ownership of a dedicated portfolio of brands and partnering closely with leaders across our retail teams. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to your brand leaders delivering practical HR advice, supporting employee relations matters, driving performance and development processes, assisting with recruitment needs, and contributing to key people initiatives that enhance our culture and employee experience. This role is perfect for someone who wants to broaden their HR skill set and move toward business partnering THE ROLE: Provide timely, high-quality HR advice to leaders across all people matters. Support employee relations cases, including conducting investigations and preparing recommendations. Coach and upskill leaders to confidently manage performance, development and people-related issues. Partner with the Talent team to support recruitment activity aligned to workforce planning needs. Ensure onboarding, contracts, and HR documentation are accurate and compliant. Support performance review cycles, probation reviews and development planning. Assist in delivering training initiatives, induction sessions and supporting succession planning. Manage HR reporting, including quarterly people metrics, exit interviews and compliance requirements. Support the delivery of people strategy projects. Partner with Payroll and HR Business Partners to identify trends, insights and continuous improvement opportunities. On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Previous experience in a HR role within a fast-paced retail environment. A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Human Resources or related field. Strong understanding of employment legislation, Awards and Agreements. Excellent relationship-building skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Strong communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution capabilities.
