About the Role Our client is a specialist consultancy delivering aviation construction and infrastructure project management across Australia. They partner with both regional and major airports to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes. They are now seeking an experienced Client-Side Project Manager based in the Mackay & Cairns region to support a growing pipeline of regional aviation infrastructure projects. The Position You will be responsible for managing a range of aviation construction projects, including terminal upgrades, runway and apron works, operational infrastructure and specialist airport facilities. As the client’s representative on the ground, you will work closely with contractors, consultants and airport operations teams to ensure successful and safe project delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end project delivery from planning and design through to handover Coordinate contractors, consultants and operational airport stakeholders Manage reporting, approvals, risks, budgets and contract documentation Ensure compliance with aviation, safety and regulatory standards Drive quality, schedule and commercial outcomes Build strong working relationships across project and client teams About You Experience in client-side project management , ideally in construction or infrastructure Aviation project experience beneficial but not essential Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills Comfortable working in regional and operational airport environments Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related fields Why This Role?
