About the role We’re seeking an Engagement & Programs Coordinator who thrives on building relationships and driving community impact. In this role, you’ll manage 12 Geelong Region Sponsorships, coordinate events and activations, and deliver creative engagement programs that bring road safety and recovery initiatives to life. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work independently on smaller programs while also collaborating across the division to deliver integrated projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be out in the community attending events, connecting with stakeholders, and making a visible difference. We lead by example, working closely with functions across the organisation, with government agencies, industry partners, and community organisations to deliver meaningful programs. Creativity and innovation are encouraged, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we connect with the Victorian community on road safety. What we’re looking for Strong Project Management & Communication Expertise Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate programs independently and as part of a team and are skilled in creating clear, engaging communication materials across multiple formats. Experience in marketing, health promotion or communications is highly advantageous. Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement Experience fostering collaboration across government, industry, and community partners. You are confident negotiating with stakeholders and have strong influencing skills. Highly Developed Organisational Skills Highly organised with a proven record of managing multiple projects and deadlines. You’re adaptable and proactive in prioritising workload whilst maintaining attention to detail.Demonstrated skills in report writing and the Microsoft Suite are advantageous.
