We are seeking an experienced Senior O&M Manager to support the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of large-scale water treatment projects, focusing on both conventional water treatment, wastewater, and desalination plants. This is a vital role that combines engineering expertise with innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Tender/Bid Participation: Incorporate client objectives into our tender and way of working. Develop and present material for client interactive workshops. Gather valuable information from clients to deliver strategic solutions. Collaboration and advisory to the engineering team on the selection of treatment processes and technologies to optimize TOTEX Identify, evaluate, and determine how to manage risks and opportunities Develop and evaluate value engineering proposals Develop and present O&M cost estimates Coordinate and file project O&M documentation, including tender and contract documents, correspondence, and safety, quality, and environmental documentation. Prepare, review, and provide written deliverables as required within the tendering process. D&C Project Delivery: Ensure process, mechanical, and electrical equipment selection, construction, and installation meet O&M project specifications and requirements. Support management with scoping, specification, and tendering during the procurement phase. Contribute to the development of Management Plans, Functional Descriptions, Commissioning, ITPs, Performance tests, and O&M documentation. Recruiting the Key roles in the O&M team & ensuring alliance culture is built from the early stages and maintained throughout the O&M. O&M Period Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel at all times Ensure protection of the environment at all times. Develop and compile project reports, communicate with clients and partners, and coordinate regular status meetings. Prepare, present O&M cost estimates & yearly budgets Prepare, develop, and update asset maintenance plans to maximize plant availability and asset life Analyze the usage of DE tools for optimisation of O&M costs and ensure robust operations Contribute to the project's positive impact. Provide all necessary tools to meet water quality specifications and manage any water quality-related incidents. Comply, so far as is reasonable, with all reasonable instructions, either personally or to the business, given so as to comply with project contractual requirements, Acts and or Regulations Give due consideration to the sustainability impact of all acts and or omissions, either by oneself or by others. Required Skills and Competencies Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English (including technical report writing). Ability to prioritize and work autonomously on tasks. Ability to work within a team as well as independently. Willingness and flexibility to travel both interstate and overseas. Spanish language skills preferred. Minimum Experience: O&M experience in a design team or a tendering team.
