High Voltage (HV) Linesmen Required for Our Client in Australia Our client is seeking experienced and dedicated High Voltage (HV) Linesmen to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in constructing, maintaining, and repairing high-voltage power lines and systems, demonstrating exceptional technical abilities, a commitment to safety, and attention to detail. Your principal role will be to ensure the reliable and safe operation of electrical power transmission and distribution networks. To be considered for this position, candidates must: Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a High Voltage (HV) Linesman. Provide supporting documents such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground high-voltage power lines and associated equipment. Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance to ensure the integrity and reliability of the power distribution system. Respond to outages and emergency situations, working to quickly and safely restore power. Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including aerial devices, diggers, and hand tools, while adhering to strict safety standards. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to plan and execute projects efficiently. Follow all regulatory compliance and company policies related to safety and environmental protection. Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-voltage line work, including construction, maintenance, and repair. Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to high-voltage electrical systems. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure clear communication with team members and adherence to safety protocols.
