About the Opportunity The Global Product Manager HydroFloat will lead the strategic growth and global deployment of our HydroFloat® Coarse Particle Flotation (CPF) technology. As the global owner of the HydroFloat® CPF product line, it will manage its lifecycle from strategy and roadmap development to commercialization, support, and continuous improvement. The Product Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, sales, marketing, engineering, and field operations to deliver measurable business results and value to customers. The Product Line Manager will provide product and market intelligence to the Company, with the clear objective of supporting the company's growth and increasing profitability. In collaboration with Engineering and R&D, the Product Manager will define all product specifications and work with Sales and Marketing to establish pricing and promotional strategies. Other job duties include monitoring emerging product trends, reporting on competitive developments, determining market prices and positioning strategies, and forecasting customer demand. This position will report to the Global Director of Mining Products , with the option to be based in Australia, Canada, USA, Peru or Chile, and will be expected to work from the local Eriez office of their respective region. Requirements In this role, you will undertake the following duties, including but not limited to: Develop and own the global product strategy for HydroFloat®, aligned with company goals and market demands. Drive product positioning, value proposition, and competitive differentiation in collaboration with marketing and sales teams. Act as the voice of the customer, conducting market research, VOC (voice of customer) interviews, and mining industry trend analysis. Lead go-to-market strategies for new applications, configurations, and regional rollouts of HydroFloat technology. Manage product lifecycle from concept to commercialization, including feature enhancements, pricing strategies, and global standardization. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as market share, revenue growth, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction. Represent the company and product team at global conferences, trade shows, and customer forums. Creates and maintains product specifications. Leverage an extensive global network of customers to promote the concept of the product and to learn about the functional requirements to be competitive in the marketplace. Acts as the central point of coordination for design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality assurance, training, and marketing throughout the product's transition to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle, including modifications, improvements, upgrades, additions, and maintenance of the product line. Assist the Subsidiary/ Managing Director or his designee to develop business plans to identify, interpret, and define local market requirements. Collaborate with regional sales and technical teams to support major customer engagements, pilot trials, and full-scale deployments. Conducts market research, monitors competitive activity (number of competitors, price, market share, performance), identifies customer needs and product shortcomings. Coordinates the same with global/local marketing teams. Assists with the development of the sales forecast for the product. Establishes pricing strategies and monitors marginal income. Works with the sales team to maintain these metrics within specified targets and approve exceptions. Provide input to R&D, engineering, marketing and sales for product improvements, new applications, and next-generation technologies using the Stage-Gate system. About You Minimum BSc in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field. MSc Engineering or MBA is preferred. A minimum of 15 years’ experience in engineering/mining industries or product management. Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy and growth in global industrial markets. Strong technical understanding of concentrator plants, particularly flotation and its impact on recovery and energy efficiency. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to prepare and present related subject matter in a professional and digestible manner. Demonstrated ability to work in a global team structure in a matrix organization. Ability to read and understand product design drawings and detailed product specifications. Good computer skills and familiarity with programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, as well as material-balancing and specialized industry-related software Able to travel domestically and internationally 40% or more of the time Fluency in English with good verbal and written skills.
