About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and provide estimating support across both our sales and hire divisions. Based at our Edinburgh North office and reporting to the Estimating Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate quotes, tenders, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for modular projects—ensuring compliance with industry standards and company processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for modular construction projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure competitive and profitable bids. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to source materials and optimise costs. Identify risks and opportunities to deliver value-driven solutions. Drive innovation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. About You: Experience in construction estimating, ideally within modular or prefabricated projects. Strong background in managing BOM (Bill of Materials) and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) documentation. Proficiency using CostX and Navision/Microsoft Dynamics or IFS software. Ability to read architectural documentation and drawings and knowledge of building regulations. Proven ability to prepare and manage multiple project budgets. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Tertiary qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
