KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, mentor, and develop junior project staff , helping shape a high-performing team and strengthening your own leadership profile. Deliver commercial construction projects from inception to completion , ensuring all milestones, standards, and client expectations are met. Drive compliance, safety, and quality throughout the entire project lifecycle, maintaining strict adherence to company, industry, and regulatory standards. Manage project budgets, programs, and scope , forecasting cost impacts early and ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams , professionally representing the builder at all stages. Produce clear progress reports and documentation , chair project meetings, and keep stakeholders informed and aligned. Oversee procurement and contract administration , including scopes of work, variations, RFIs, and supplier negotiations. Identify and mitigate project risks , implementing proactive solutions before issues escalate. Monitor on-site activity , working closely with Site Managers to ensure sequencing, buildability, and productivity targets are met. Ensure strong relationships with subcontractors , resolving issues swiftly and maintaining a collaborative site culture. Support the handover process , including commissioning, defect management, and ensuring smooth transition to the client. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: You are either an established Project Manager working for a commercial builder in Australia, or an aspiring Contract Administrator / Project Coordinator who is capable and wanting to learn and grow. You’ve worked in commercial construction for a commercial builder within Australia . You’re driven, organised, and confident managing projects and people. You can work across project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar). Experience in general commercial or industrial projects is highly regarded – but not essential.
