The Environmental Offsets – Planning, Monitoring and Research team is looking for a professional and motivated Assistant Director Monitoring and Evaluation to provide leadership to field ecologists and data experts. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of monitoring and evaluation of offsets and deliver enhanced restoration outcomes for the ACT. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Mandatory: Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Program Management, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management or other relevant fields. Knowledge of the ecology of the ACT and methods for surveying natural values. Willingness to undertake incident management duties, including participation in fire standby, fire suppression and fire training.
