Junior Machine/CNC Operator About Us Hammersmith is a family-owned manufacturing business that supplies solid timber products to the staircase, building, and furniture industries. We operate a small storefront in Brompton, but distribute our products nationally through our e-commerce site & trade/wholesale network. About The Role Due to continued growth we currently have a vacancy for a full-time role as a machine/CNC operator within our team environment in Brompton. Depending on the applicant and their experience level, you may be tasked with operating any number of the following machines (on-the-job training would be provided): 5 axis CNC’s Moulders Sanders Docking Saws Thicknessers Glue Press Lathes What We Can Offer You: Good work/life balance Early finish on Fridays No weekend or overtime work On-the-job training Requirements: Consistent reliability and punctuality Good physical condition (some heavy lifting may be involved) Ability to work well under minimal supervision Excellent attention to detail Good communication skills A forklift license would be looked upon favourably, but is not required Experience in the woodworking or manufacturing industries would be looked upon favourably, but is not required The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Thursday 7am-3.45m and Fridays 7am-12pm
