POSITION SUMMARY Omni is looking for an experienced Security Officer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. The Security Officer will understand the complexities of maintaining an effective security environment and will be specialised in developing security frameworks that are not only compliant but also specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs of our client and all stakeholders involved. You will be responsible for: Facility Security - Creating and maintaining a secure environment for the execution of a Security Access Program (SAP), which includes physical security and personnel security. Personnel Security - Managing personnel clearances and ensuring that all staff accessing the SAP have the required security clearance. Policy and Compliance - Adhering to all applicable government laws and national, Defence, and security policies. Training and Education - Conducting security education and training awareness sessions for all personnel Auditing and Investigations - Performing compliance self-inspections and potentially conducting security-related enquiries or investigations Security Administration - Overseeing all Security Access Program (SAP) administration, management, and daily operations within their assigned facility. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Be an Australian Citizen Hold a current TSPV Australian Government Security Clearance (or hold a minimum NV2) Hold a current security related qualification Previous Defence industry experience Experience managing of sensitive technology’s security aspects Experience managing advanced capability program’s security governance and compliance Physical/Facility Security certification and accreditation Security Risk Analysis / Management experience Personnel Security Analysis / Management experience Applications will be assessed as they are received, and the position may be filled prior to closing.
