We are looking for a full-time Construction Estimator at Insitugroup Queensland who will be responsible for producing competitive and detailed costings across a range of commercial construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities and Tasks: Review construction plans, specifications, and project documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. Calculate material, labour, and equipment requirements using detailed quantity take-offs. Collaborate with project managers and contract administrators to ensure costings align with project goals and constraints. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Identify cost efficiencies while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Conduct site visits to assess on-ground conditions and incorporate findings into cost assessments. Prepare and lodge formal tenders and project quotes within required timeframes. Monitor and update project cost forecasts to reflect variations, delays, or other influencing factors. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 3 years experience as a Construction Estimator. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Attention to detail and time management. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $100,000 - $125,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 40-hour work week.
