Youth Service Manager Northern Territory – Katherine - Full Time Stream Healthcare is working with a not-for-profit organisation that is looking for a Youth Service Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working within child services and with a background in care programs, coordination and leadership. About the role: Provide effective line management: supervision, support, mentoring and debriefing to Case Managers - ensuring active monitoring of workloads and overall individual and team wellbeing. Enable staff development activities and undertake Employee Review and Development (GROW) processes. Ensure staff respect diversity and mentor the team in culturally safe practices and micro skills which support Aboriginal young people to maintain connection to community, culture, and country. Ensure engagement with stakeholders to develop and work together on community projects of common concern. Work collaboratively with high risk vulnerable young people, services and key stakeholders to undertake support and develop strategies to minimize high risk, anti-social behaviour and enable good decision making. What the client is looking for: Bachelor's degree in youth, community, or human services and a minimum four (4) years management and direct experience working with high risk / vulnerable young people and families in community based environments. Knowledge of the OOHC system and local youth, family & homelessness service system. Experience in the application of youth work practice frameworks, youth focused family friendly approaches and community capacity building strategies. Why this role?
