Title:- IT Systems Administrator Location:- Chatswood, Hybrid Length:- 6 month contract • Working in the DevSecOps team supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure • Focused in the Wintel space, providing technical support to peers and the wider IT team • Hybrid working environment with a collaborative and supportive culture Role description This role sits within a DevSecOps team that provides timely and expert technical services across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments, end user support, and security and compliance. It is a key position that extends the team’s technical and automation capabilities, strengthens global support coverage, and enhances infrastructure maturity. You will help deliver IT and business projects, manage infrastructure in data centres and diverse cloud platforms, and develop mature operating models including automation. The focus will be in the Wintel space, providing hands on expertise and acting as a second level escalation point for datacentre and cloud technologies. You will bring strong knowledge of infrastructure, VDI, and cloud technologies, along with a client centric mindset and a passion for technology. Building rapport and maintaining strong relationships will be essential, as you will also support frontline teams. Key Responsibilities • Support the continuous improvement of customer experience by ensuring expectations are met or exceeded • Act as the go to person for all technical cloud and infrastructure matters • Produce high level system and process documentation • Manage availability and performance across infrastructure, VDI, and cloud systems • Deliver and support projects and initiatives aligned with infrastructure operating models • Monitor and resolve critical system events on priority systems as per support roster What You’ll Bring • Passion for technology and a hands on approach • Excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies including Server 2016, 2019, 2022, AD, AAD, DFS, DHCP, and DNS • Experience managing VMWare vCentre and ESXi • Proven experience supporting VDI solutions such as Horizon, Citrix, or Workspaces • Expert knowledge of industry standard applications and operating systems • Strong understanding of enterprise IT strategies and concepts • Awareness of emerging technologies and automation tools • Solid working knowledge of IT technologies across multiple disciplines • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and O365 • Expertise with Windows 10 and 11 including deployment and patching • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills • Excellent Microsoft Office skills If you would like more information please contact Sarah Brown sarah.brown@talentweb.com.au
