Join our team and contribute to high-profile mining projects in Western Australia. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and excellence. This is a FIFO role working a guaranteed 38 hours per week with additional hours when on site. A salary of $134,000 - $213,000 will be offered depending on experience. Key Responsibilities : Perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems. Complete, review, and verify Inspection and Test Records (ITRs), including pre-commissioning, functional testing, and final handover documentation. Calibrate, inspect, and maintain field instruments, control loops, and electrical systems. Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment Identify and resolve faults in HV/LV systems, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and control gear. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project timelines and ensure compliance with Australian standards. Maintain thorough records and uphold safety standards in all commissioning activities. Required Skills and Experience : Valid WA Electrical License (essential). Proven experience in commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems in mining or heavy industry. Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, control systems, and calibration processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. Experience completing and verifying ITRs for commissioning projects. Knowledge of Australian standards, including AS/NZS 3000 and AS 2067. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities. Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging site conditions. Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures. Qualifications and Certifications : AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training WA Electrical License (essential). Current First Aid, CPR, and LVR certification (or willingness to obtain). White Card and valid driver's license. Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A screening.
