About the role: This newly available Senior Financial Accountant role sits within a high-performing group that manages a large portfolio of government-funded programs. You’ll take ownership of the full grants and acquittals process. Key responsibilities: Oversee the full lifecycle of the grants and acquittals process. Prepare accurate acquittal calculations and manage audit requirements. Review funding contracts to determine reporting and revenue recognition requirements. Liaise with finance business partners and operational teams to resolve variances. Support month-end, balance sheet reconciliations and grant receipting. Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
