Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Finance Lead will play a key leadership role in driving the finance stream of this ERP implementation. You’ll oversee the successful delivery of core financial capabilities, including General Ledger, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Analytics, Dashboards, and Reporting. Working collaboratively with project teams, business stakeholders and external vendors, you’ll guide the finance function through every stage - from procurement and design to implementation, training and transition. You’ll champion adoption, ensure alignment with strategic business goals, and lead change across the organisation to realise the full value of this transformation. Your key responsibilities Represent finance priorities, functional requirements and desired outcomes across all phases of the finance system implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including IT, procurement and external vendors - to ensure cohesive and timely delivery. Lead finance input into EOI/RFT processes, defining business requirements, evaluation criteria and demonstration scenarios. Own the finance product vision and guide design decisions across all core modules to align with strategic objectives and guiding principles. Validate system configurations against business needs, ensuring fit-to-standard adoption and minimal customisation. Define and approve testing scenarios, UAT outcomes and go-live readiness criteria. Establish reporting baselines, interactive dashboards and standards for operational, management and board-level insights. Specify and oversee finance-related integrations with key systems (e.g. billing, payroll, procurement, asset management, and projects). Monitor and manage finance-related risks, issues, dependencies and mitigations, maintaining alignment with scope, schedule and budget baselines. Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership, steering committees and governance forums to support informed decision-making. What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline – Mandatory Proven experience leading finance workstreams in ERP or best-of-breed system implementations. Proven experience project managing Finance Transformation or similar large-scale ERP transformation projects. Hands-on approach working closely with a small, collaborative team and partnering effectively with Technology teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and governance skills, with sound judgement and decision-making capability. In-depth knowledge of core finance modules, including General Ledger, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, and Reporting. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Adept at translating complex finance requirements into practical, scalable system solutions. Strategic thinker with a delivery-focused mindset and strong attention to quality. Resilient and proactive, with the ability to navigate change, manage risk, and operate effectively in ambiguity. Collaborative, service-oriented team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, committed to continuous improvement.
