Our opportunity We have an opportunity for an Assistant Treasurer to join our Sydney team. In this role you will be responsible for management of the debt facilities, including refinancing and new financing as required to support the liquidity and funding strategy of the business. Having a strategic approach to capital management and interest rate risk management. Overseeing the cash management, bank account operations and the transactional banking platform for the business. Your responsibilities will include: Loan origination; including preparing information memorandums, collaboration with various business units, negotiation and execution of transaction documents. Manage facility expiries (debt and bank guarantee facilities) and provide strategic input for renewals/extensions. Management and review of all reporting, cash management, debt drawdowns and security releases as necessary. Develop interest rate risk management strategies. Prepare executive reports on debt and hedging strategies. Debt investor relationship management. Oversee all debt investor payments and derivative payments. Budget reviews and analysis. Debt covenant calculations and treasury reporting/disclosures for the financial reports. Credit rating calculations. Oversight and management of Treasury Management System usage and data implementation. Provide assistance to the Group Treasurer to execute the capital management strategy and elsewhere as required. Your point of difference You will be professionally qualified with a business/finance related qualification coupled with experience within a treasury/banking environment with a good understanding of property loan structures. Familiarity with Bloomberg and GTreasury systems is useful. You will have well developed communication skills and confidence to deal with internal stakeholders and external service providers. You will be self-motivated and show curiosity, with ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced working environment.
