About role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Global Internal Audit team as Internal Audit Segment Lead for our Development & Investments segments. Based at our head office in Barangaroo, you will join a dedicated and multi-disciplined team, to provide independent, objective assurance across Lendlease operations. The team seeks to add value and recommend improvements in all our audits. This role presents a unique career development and growth opportunity at an exciting time as the IA function restructures itself to reflect the businesses’ new operating model (Investments, Development & Construction (IDC)). As Internal Audit Segment Lead you will be fully responsible for Internal Audit work activities and engagement with the segment. Notwithstanding the segment focus, you will gain exposure across the entire Lendlease Group dealing with all components of business operations which involve a diverse range of areas across all segments including their projects and developments, new business initiatives, corporate services, system implementations or upgrades, and business integrity reviews. This unrivalled job variety will see you working across activities ranging from project sites through to C-Suite executives. The primary purpose of the Internal Audit Segment Lead is to lead engagement between IA and the segment and plan, deliver and lead IA activities as it relates to the segment. In addition and as a senior manager you will be expected to assist with strategic initiatives to evolve the Internal Audit function. The role reports to the Head of Internal Audit, and involves close interaction with Global audit teams. About You: To see success in this role, you will benefit from bringing a knowledge of the respective segment complemented with diverse range of experience. Ability to manage projects, team members and variety of stakeholders including engagement with senior executives on a day-to-day basis. Ability to form strong business relationships, a hunger to learn, share knowledge and strive to improve the business. The ability to demonstrate in-depth experience in areas such as risk & controls, operational management, safety or commercial management will be highly valued. While prior audit experience is an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite for the role.
