Our client, a rapidly expanding property investment group, is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. The Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will take ownership of financial reporting across a growing portfolio of construction and development projects. You’ll be responsible for preparing financial statements, management reports, and statutory accounts, while also supporting broader commercial and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financials, annual and half-year statutory accounts Review budget overages and investigate variances with Project and Development Managers Prepare joint venture financial statements and liaise with JV partners and financiers Assist with system and process improvements across finance and project teams Support the preparation of monthly board papers and reporting packs Contribute to annual planning and budgeting, including revenue projections and variance analysis Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare supporting documentation Provide ad hoc support to management on strategic and operational tasks Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring: CA or CPA qualification (or near completion) Experience in property, construction, or related sectors preferred Strong understanding of business performance drivers and financial risk management Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement A proactive mindset and desire to contribute to a growing business A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team
