The Role You’ll manage the coordination, case management and processing of FOI requests, ensuring all statutory requirements and timeframes are met. Key duties include: Managing end-to-end FOI processes, including assessing, coordinating, and preparing documentation for decision-making Drafting formal decision letters, correspondence, briefings and reports Providing advice to staff on FOI matters, procedures, and best practice approaches Supporting internal and external review or complaint processes Contributing to the continuous improvement of FOI policies, procedures and systems Supporting governance, assurance and compliance activities Assisting with records management, including classification, migration, and audits The Ideal Person You’re an experienced FOI practitioner who takes pride in delivering accurate, timely and well-considered outcomes. You understand the legislative and procedural requirements of FOI work and can apply sound judgement to sensitive and complex matters. Your attention to detail, communication skills and ability to balance competing priorities make you an asset in a busy, professional environment.
