Remuneration: $69,000 About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Transport Driver to assist older adults and people with disabilities to remain active and engaged in the community on a Casual Basis. In this vital role, you will provide safe and high-quality transport services aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Description To be successful for this role, you must possess the following: Demonstrated ability to provide sensitive and appropriate support to people who are ageing and/or have a disability. Good interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with service users. Current ACT drivers license applicable to both manual and automatic transmissions An exemplary driving record. Computer literate in a “windows” environment. Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality. Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration. Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one. Desirable: Able to work outside normal business hours if required. Able to safely perform manual handling and lifting duties e.g. mobility equipment and shopping needs.
