The role Reporting to the Sourcing Portfolio Manager, the Senior Sourcing Specialist role is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity and sits within our wider Sourcing and Partnerships team. You will be responsible for working collaboratively and proactively with key stakeholders from across the business to understand and engage with the supply market on key business needs and objectives. You will play a support role to the Sourcing Portfolio Manager and the wider team on strategic projects and supplier engagements and other cyclical activities ranging from reviewing upcoming contract expiries to supporting the contracts renewal process. About you An experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist, you possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within a highly regulated environment, across various categories such as professional services and/or IT. You possess strong understanding and knowledge in the end-to-end supply chain and procurement lifecycle including contracts negotiations and executions/extensions and working with external suppliers on any source to contract market activities. You have the passion and ambition for achieving great value procurement outcomes,with the willingness to pro-actively take ownership of tasks and activities assigned to you. Lastly, you possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery of any business objectives and outcomes.
