Description We are seeking an experienced field-based commercial professional to join as a Strategic Account Manager. This individual will actively drive awareness of ONT's products and work to develop and implement a strategic business plan for the territory. The territory coverage will The Details Reporting to the Associate Director, Regional Sales, the Strategic Account Manager will own territory strategy and execution across New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and New Zealand to grow revenue and expand Oxford Nanopore’s footprint across research, clinical and applied customers. You will build and manage top‑tier relationships and KOL engagement, identify new market opportunities, and convert complex sales by coordinating cross‑functional resources. To achieve the objectives of this role, you will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time. Other responsibilities include: Develop and implement a territory strategic business plan aligned with regional targets Manage and grow relationships with senior decision makers and key opinion leaders across multiple disciplines Identify and qualify new opportunities and adjacent markets within the territory Navigate funding cycles and procurement/decision‑making processes to accelerate sales Delivering to the agreed targets for Oxford Nanopore Technologies Adhering to best practices for tracking, recording and documenting relevant commercial intelligence from all customer interactions What We're Looking For: BSc in Life Sciences or related discipline; advanced degree advantageous.
