The role: Reporting to the Principal Project Officer or Project Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and ensuring the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered. In addition to this, you will: Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules. Manage and monitor resources, expenses and capital costs against the project forecasts. Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lesson learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations. Manage, monitor, and actively participate in the implementation of consistent working processes Are you right for this role? To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience in a medium scale IM/ICT project management environment, preferably in the health care industry (SFIA Skill: PRMG: Level5). You will also have the proven ability to develop and manage one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, and facilitate the business change decision-making processes, and the planning and implementation of change (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 5). Furthermore, you will have an understanding of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 5).
